Apple looks to have a busy fall release schedule if the latest reports from around the Asian supply chain are true. Leaks point to a delay in the normal September launch of next generation iPhones, with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro shipping in October instead. The global pandemic continues to affect supply chains and has postponed Apple's fall plans. However, the company is still expected to have its annual keynote event in early September to reveal new products.
All the current iPhone models since the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are at least water-resistant or waterproof. The latest models, the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are rated IP68. This means that the iPhone 11 can be safely submerged in 6.5 feet (2 meters) of water for 30 minutes, while the Pro and Pro Max can go a little deeper at 13 feet (4 meters). It is safe to assume that all 4 rumored iPhone 12 models will carry the same waterproof rating as the iPhone 11 models.

A concept video of an "iPhone 12 Flip" appeared on Instagram in February 2020, garnering over 2.5 million views. However, there is no actual iPhone 12 flip phone or any known plans for Apple to produce one in the near future.
