What is Force Touch ID? According to a report from Cowen and Company, Apple may debut the technology on the iPhone 7 this fall. Force Touch ID would replace the home button with a capacitive touch sensor to unlock the device. Another day brings another image drop from sources in the Far East. The supply chain has been leaking parts photos for some time now, most recently focused on the iPhone 7 headphone jack. Two more images from separate sources seem to confirm that larger cameras are on the way in the next generation iPhone.

Reports continue to surface indicating that Apple will ditch the 3.5mm audio jack on the next generation iPhone. This move would leave the iPhone 7 with just a Lightning port, and the device would ship with Lightning-compatible headphones in the box. Apple is also said to be developing wireless Bluetooth EarPods that will be available separately. Now Mac Otakara reveals several Lightning to 3.5mm audio adapters that are set to hit the market.
