Why are some of my Contacts grayed out in the emergency contact section of the Health app?

Apple's Health app allows you to create a Medical ID for emergencies. The Medical ID can be accessed when your iPhone is locked by taping Emergency, then Medical ID. It contains various medical information that you can add, such as medical conditions, allegories and more. You can also add emergency contacts, which will be notified with your current location when the Emergency SOS option on your device is activated.

How do I add data to my Health app Dashboard?

The Dashboard section of Apple's Health app allows you to see a daily to yearly view of all your health and fitness data. You can add as many categories as you want to your Dashboard by following these steps:

1. Open the Health app on your device.
2. Tap the Health Data icon on the bottom of your display.
3. Select a category such as "Fitness".
4. Select the data you want to add to your Dashboard (i.e. Active Calories).

Does the Apple Health app use cellular data?

If you are worried that your Health app is sucking up your cellular data you can see a breakdown of your cellular usage by navigating to Settings > Cellular and scrolling down to the "Cellular Data Usage" section. From here you can see all the apps that are using cellular data and how much each app is using. If you scroll down even further to the bottom you can then tap the System Service tab for a breakdown of the built-in services that use data.

How do I see what apps have access to my Health app?

You can see a list of apps with access to your Health app data by going to the Sources section in the Health app. From here you can also enable and disable permissions for individual apps.

You can sync third-party apps to the Health app in the settings of any HealthKit-enabled app. A lot of times the Health app option can be found in the "Services" section of the settings panel.

How do I manually enter data into the Health App?

You can add health and fitness data to your Health app by manually entering the data yourself or collecting it from third-party apps. Here's how to manually enter data into your Health app:

3. Select the category for the data you want to add (e.g. Body Measurements, Fitness).
