How can I quickly delete photos from my iPhone's camera roll?
The fastest way to delete pictures from your iPhone's camera roll is to go to the "Moments" section in your Photos app and use the select button to delete whole days at a time. In your Photos app, go to Years -> Collections -> Moments and tap the "Select" button in the top right. Now you can select a whole day with another select button, or individual pics from within a day by tapping on each photo. When you have selected everything you want to delete tap the trash icon.
That is the fastest way to do it from your iPhone, but if you want to remove many hundreds or thousands of photos, you're better off doing it on your Mac or pc. On your Mac, connect your iPhone with your lightning cable and use iPhoto to import your photos. Use your mouse to select your photos and then click "Import Selected," or you can import all the photos. Once you click one of these buttons it will ask you if you want to delete them from your iPhone once they are imported.
Other methods for mass deleting photos on your Mac or Windows machine can be found here. There are also third party apps for iOS that will allow you to delete lots of photos quickly, such as Purrge.

Most of people doesn't know the simple deletion will not erase data from iPhone completely, it still be recoverable by from iPhone data recovery programs.
I personally erased my iPhone with Safewiper iOS data eraser software, it perform 5 erasing modes and all the erased data never be recovered. I highly recommend Safewiper.
This is the guide:

Simple deletion can’t completely erase the data from iPhone, they still remain on your iPhone’s internal memory and easily be recovered. To permanently wipe your iPhone content and settings, I suggest try Erasephone to wipe your iPhone.

Sometimes you just need to wipe everything out and start fresh. Whether it's because you're running out of storage space on your iPhone, you have more embarassing selfies than you can handle, or some other reason, there are times when you might want to delete all the photos you have stored on your phone.
Fortunately, there's a pretty easy way to do it, using Mobiledic iPhone data eraser to wipe your iPhone photos and other data.

Hi, editor. I want to delete all my photos before selling my iPhone. You already have introduced four ways, and here I found another third part app: giveumore.com
which method or app is the best? Or just use any one of them?
Spire replied on Permalink
Just go to Settings> General > Reset> Reset All Settings and it will be back to factory settings. No need to use so many steps just for photos if you're selling your phone.

I have created albums for photos on my iPhone 6s. I have moved pics from the camera roll to the album. Can I delete the photo from the camera roll without it being deleted from the album?

It doesn't ask me to delete pictures on my iPhone When I import photos to my mac. Why?

After uploading my iPhone photos to my Mac, I chose the "delete from the phone" option. the photos remained. I then tried the standard method above but the trash button was not highlighted making it impossible to delete by this method.
Does anyone have an explanation? Very frustrating.
