After ten sequels and a handful of spin-offs it is hard to believe that the Angry Bird franchise has not run out of steam, but Rovio's disgruntled birds have managed to once again top the mobile gaming charts. Angry Birds 2 is currently the number one free game on the Apple App store, and it has already been downloaded over one million times since it was launched on Thursday. Not only has the sequel climbed its way to the the top of Apple's charts, but it is this week's Editor's Choice, and it has been earning good reviews from both critics and fans.

Rovio Entertainment's official sequel to Angry Birds is now available on the Apple App Store. Angry Birds 2 arrives several years after the original Angry Birds turned the mobile gaming world on its head in 2009. The sequel promises to deliver a "new era of addictive slingshot gameplay with stunning graphics, challenging multi-stage levels, scheming boss pigs and even more destruction".

Apple Music added to T-Mobile Music Freedom

T-Mobile has added Apple Music to its list of music services that can stream for free over the carrier's 4G LTE network. Music Freedom allows Simple Choice customers to enjoy 33 music streaming services without burning through their T-Mobile data plan. The list of supported services include popular music platforms such as Pandora, Spotify, Rdio and more. You can see a complete list of supported services here.

Apple unveils third quarter earnings.

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) released its third quarter results shortly after the closing bell on Tuesday. Share prices proceeded to plummet nearly 7% in after hours trading (the drop off actually began shortly before the earnings call) even though it was yet another record breaking quarter for the Cupertino giant. After closing Tuesday at $130.75, prices opened Wednesday at $121.99. They recovered a little bit during large volume trading on Wednesday, closing at $125.22, and closed the week at $124.50.

Best Buy to carry Apple Watch in August

100 Best Buy retail locations will begin carrying the Apple Watch beginning in August, according to the Wall Street Journal. Apple will then expand its Apple Watch shipments to over 300 outlets before the holidays. Best Buy will only carry the Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch editions. Apple fans will also be able to buy replacement bands and other Watch accessories at participating Best Buy locations.
