The popular iPad skecthing app Paper is getting iPhone support, according to a teaser page that popped up today on developer FiftyThree's website.

Paper is a drawing app that offers a suite of sketching tools, and Mix, a social network for sharing and viewing sketches with other artists. The app has grown so popular since its release that FiftyThree started offering its original tools to users for free back in February. FiftyThree also recently updated the app with Think Kit, which has been described as an "auto­correct for drawing," a free automatic backup otpion, and other new features.

Proximity sensors on future iPhones may be more sophisticated than current components. According to the patent titled Proximity sensors with smudge detection capabilities, malfunctions due to dirt on the display can be prevented. Sometimes a smudge on the glass will prevent the proximity sensor from switching the display on. The problem is the sensor believes the iPhone is against the user's head.

It wasn't too long ago that music fans were trading cassette tapes of their favorite tracks. The days of manually dubbing songs and writing artist information on the tiny insert of a cassette case may be long gone. Despite this, the concept of gifting a custom album could return with a vengance if Apple implements their patent titled Digital Mixed Tapes.

It appeared that Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) stock was poised for a rebound after it gained nearly 3 percent on Monday, closing at $119.72. It wasn't to be, however, as share prices dropped 5.2% in the following 24 hours, closing Tuesday's high volume session at $113.49. Wednesday's trading saw a low of $109.63, a price not seen since January, though it closed the day at $115.24. The volume dropped off and the price plateaued for the rest of the week, with the share price closing Friday at $115.96.

Atari and Frontier Developments has finally given fans what they wanted -- a premium version of the popular building game RollerCoaster Tycoon on iOS. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 is now available on the App Store for $4.99. There are no IAPs and the game promises to deliver the same "depth and sophistication" as the PC version with a new mobile-friendly UI.
