You would think that after all these years of major superhero movies we would be able to approach them like any other major movie release, but no there is indeed still something about seeing comic book icons on the big screen that sends us into a frenzy that few other movies are quite capable of.

That’s especially true as it concerns the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Featuring some of DC Comics’ biggest icons, it’s the kind of glorious celebration of the joy of comic books and superheroes that draws fans into theaters in masses.

Since Apple introduced the larger iPhone 6 and 6 Plus a few years ago there have been a number of 4-inch diehards who have refused to upgrade. It has been unclear whether Apple would completely abandoned the 4-inch size, but Monday's event made it clear the 4-inch form factor is here to stay, at least for now. The long overdue update to Apple's 4-inch iPhone form factor is finally here.

Apple today officially unveiled the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro during a short keynote at its Infinite Loop campus in Cupertino, California. The new handset replaces Apple's existing 4-inch device, the iPhone 5s. The iPhone maker said it has sold over 30 million 4-inch models last year, proving that there is still demand for smaller smartphones. The iPhone SE is basically an updated version of the 5s that puts it more in line with Apple's current flagship models, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) opened the week at $101.90 and continued its climb, peaking midday Thursday at $106.34. After slipping on Friday, Apple stock closed the week at $105.92 for a gain of $4.02 (+3.95%) over the five-day period.
