iOS App of the Week: reddit AMA -- Ask Me Anything

Ask Me Anything

Reddit may be the "front page of the internet" but it can be confusing to new users with its subreddits, voting and commenting system. The social networking site has also had a rocky relationship with the App Store, making it harder for iOS users to use its services and participate in events like its popular AMAs from their mobile devices. In my opinion the AMAs are one of the best features on reddit and that's why the official AMA app is a great option for new and old users.

HomeKit

Update: Apple has just told The Wall Street Journal that "HomeKit-enabled smart-home devices are coming out next month," refuting Fortune's report below.

There hasn't been a lot of talk about Apple's home automation platform, HomeKit, mostly because there have been lots of other products to keep Apple fans busy. The Siri-controlled feature was originally announced during last year's Worldwide Developer Conference, but not many details were revealed. Rumors suggested that the platform would launch in May or June, but now sources have told Fortune that the release has been pushed back until to late August or September.
