Camera360 iPhone App Now Supports Sony Cyber-shot QX10 and QX100

Camera360 has teamed up with Sony to support the Cyber-shot QX10 and QX100. The Sony QX10 and QX100 are Wi-Fi lens cameras that improve your smarphone's picture taking abilities by mounting directly to your device. The Camera360 app will become the first photography software to be customized for the new smartphone lens cameras.

"Through working with Sony DSC-QX100 and DSC-QX10 cameras, we're making it easier for mobile photographers to capture high quality pictures with the most popular and professional filters. We're making continuous improvements to provide a better photography experience for global smartphone users," said Gary Gu, Marketing Director of Camera360.

The Sony QX10 attachable camera allows your iPhone to get 10x closer to the action. It features a back-illuminated 18MP 1 / 2.3" Exmor R CMOS and can record quality 1080/30p HD video even in low lighting situations. The 18MP QX10 is currently available for pre-order for $248.

The Sony QX100 boasts a 20.2MP sensor and Carl Zeiss 3.6x zoom lens (f1.8-4.9). It is also available for pre-order for $498.

Both attachable lens cameras are expected to start shipping worldwide later this month.

The Camera360 app is free to download from the Apple App Store. It requires iOS 5.0 or later, and is also compatible with the iPad and iPod touch.

Here's what the developer told us" "The new Sony lens-style cameras are expected to go on sale worldwide later this month and the V4.8 update for Camera360 apps including the 'Sony Camera' mode will be available to download at around the same time."

It doesn't look like they released V.4.8 for some unknown reason.

When will the new software 4.8 be released?
