Transformers: Forged to Fight and Alto's Odyssey trailers hit the web

Hasbro and Kabam unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming fighting game Transformers: Forged to Fight at the New York Toy Fair over the weekend. The new title is a reskin of the popular Marvel Contest of Champions with a few new tweaks, including ranged attacks and the ability to side-step attacks. The game also features 3D environments, a new Transformers story and the ability to build and defend your own base.

Marvel Contest of Champions is a free-to-play fighting game with simple touch controls for performing light, medium, and heavy attacks, as well as blocking. Players can compete as their favorite Marvel heroes or villains in one-on-one combat. In Forged to Fight, players will be able to collect and fight as their favorite Transformers or Decepticons. Contest has earned mostly favorable reviews from fans, and was chosen as Apple's Editors' Choice in in 2014.

The 44-second teaser trailer for Forged to Fight features battles between popular Transformers and Decepticons, such as Starscream and Arcee. The fighting game will be available for both iOS and Andorid this spring.

The trailer for Alto's Odyssey was also released over the holiday weekend. The teaser doesn't reveal much about the sequel, except that it will arrive this summer.

Alto's Odyssey is the follow-up to the popular endless runner, Alto's Adventure, which just had its second anniversary. You can read more about both titles on the developer's blog.

Alto's Adventure is available for $1.99 on the Apple App Store.
