Activision announces Skylanders BattleCast for mobile devices

Activision today announced a new free-to-play card battle game called Skylanders BattleCast for mobile devices. The new mobile title will not launch until 2016, but fans will be able to get a "sneak peek with the launch of a preview app on September 20," according to the official Activision Games Blog.

Robot Warlords now available on UK App Store

The endless runner Robot Warlords is now available on the UK App Store. The game is based on Jon Wright’s sci-fi film Robot Overlords. In Robot Warlords, players must escape robot invaders by running through city zones while dodging obstacles and enemy attacks. After making its debut on Steam more than a week ago, Scott Cawthon's highly anticipated Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is finally available on the Apple App Store. The fourth and final chapter of the original story follows a child, who must defend himself from Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy in his own home. This time your only defense is a flashlight that you can use to ward off unwanted creatures that may wander into your room.

Angry Birds 2 now available on the App Store

Rovio Entertainment's official sequel to Angry Birds is now available on the Apple App Store. Angry Birds 2 arrives several years after the original Angry Birds turned the mobile gaming world on its head in 2009. The sequel promises to deliver a "new era of addictive slingshot gameplay with stunning graphics, challenging multi-stage levels, scheming boss pigs and even more destruction".

Five Nights at Freddy's 4 goes live on Steam ahead of App Store release

There's been all kinds of rumors floating around about the official release date for Five Nights at Freddy's 4, but so far none of them have been true because the game shockingly popped up on Steam today. The game featured a note from its developer Scott Cawthon who wrote, "Ok, so as many of you already know, I'm bad with release dates. The game is finished. Enjoy!"
