Spotify continues to personalize content delivery for its Premium subscribers with the launch of a new DJ feature. The DJ uses Spotify's recommendation technology to deliver a lineup of music based on your previous listening. The new feature expands upon existing customized playlists such as Discover Weekly and the annual Wrapped summary.

ChatGPT now available on Microsoft iPhone apps

Microsoft's AI-enabled chatbot can now be accessed directly through three of the company's iPhone apps. Initially the service launched via Bing on desktop web browsers. With its arrival on iOS, the ChatGPT-based search bot is available from the Bing app, Skype, or the Edge browser. Not only this, but to begin a conversation with the chatbot users have the option to speak instead of just typing.

Faster data transfer speeds and universal cable compatibility are just two things on the horizon for the next generation iPhone coming later this year. Apple is all but confirmed to bring USB-C to the iPhone 15 Pro lineup this fall. For the first time since its introduction in 2012, the proprietary Lightning connector is to be phased out. At least part of the reason for a switch away from Lightning are new EU regulations mandating that all electronic devices support USB-C for universal compatibility. The move also reduces the number of cables, chargers, and adapters needed by consumers.

The so-called holy grail of smartphone design could be open step closer if supply chain reports are to be believed. The latest rumors point to Apple working on a seamless iPhone display. While the iPhone 14 Pro recently introduced the Dynamic Island thanks to a unique notch and pill design, an all-screen display would move Face ID components behind the image completely.

Apple Music releases exclusive Super Bowl LVII content

As first announced last fall, Apple Music took the plunge this year and sponsored the Super Bowl halftime show for the first time. Formerly sponsored by Pepsi, the Super Bowl 57 halftime show will feature a performance by Rihanna. The multi-year deal also means that Apple will release exclusive Super Bowl content for the event and beyond.
