Apple is set to roll out a new discount program for Apple Music. Students enrolled in eligible colleges or universities can now get half off the monthly subscription price. With the discount, membership for students in the US comes to $4.99 per month instead of the usual $9.99. Apple Music offers streaming of "just about every song ever recorded" along with expert recommendations and unlimited radio play.

Hulu, YouTube to offer live TV in 2017

Apple will have some competition if the company continues to pursue a live TV channel package for the Apple TV. Both Hulu and YouTube have announced plans to launch streaming TV services as soon as next year. For its part, Apple has been rumored to be working on content deals for some time. A quality bundle of 25 channels was slated to arrive for monthly subscription in November 2015, however subsequent reports indicate Apple's plans have been delayed.

Hungry Shark is a classic everyone has played at some point in their life. The game has spawned several sequels, including Hungry Shark Night, a tie-in to the mostly forgotten PG-13 killer shark flick, Shark Night 3D. Ubisoft has updated the series with the release on Hungry Shark World. The new version of Hungry Shark is a big improvement over its predecessors with large open worlds, tons of enemies and hazards, plus entire oceans of stuff to eat and destroy.

Blue Wizard Digital is looking for beta testers for its upcoming "blood curdling" mobile puzzle game, Slayaway Camp. Interested iOS users can sign up to be considered for the closed beta at bluewizard.com, but you will probably want to know a little more about the game before you do.

Slayaway Camp is a 1984 horror film starring blocky "smartmouthed, oversexed, substance-abusing young adults" who happen to be camping over the ancient burial ground the S’lay’a Way tribe (pronunciation: SLAW-ah-weh). As usual, this does not end well for the unsuspecting youth.

Apple Music has met its fair share of criticism since its launch in 2015, and Apple has heard the complaints. The iPhone maker plans to revamp its music streaming service after a tepid response from iOS users, and internal struggles within the company. According to Bloomberg, Apple CEO Tim Cook plans to reguvinate slumping iTunes downloads, and attract more Apple Music subscribers by announcing an updated "intuitive" Apple Music at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June.
