Summarise - Talking Alarm Clock

Summarise is a new alarm clock for iOS devices that walks you through your morning by reading the weather, news and even your daily reminders. The app works like a lot like Flipboard by allowing you to customize your daily wake up routine with your favorite news sources, Twitter updates and so on.

The app is simple to set up and even easier to use. After giving the app permission to use your location you will need to pick what items you want read to you each morning. Just tap the + sign to open the list of options. From here you can add Weather, News and Reminders for free and Calendar, Twitter and Birthdays for $0.99 each.

Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off on June 8 in San Francisco, California. The event will feature more than 100 technical sessions and hands-on labs for developers, the Apple Design Awards, and if the rumor mill is correct, a few big product announcements will be made during the opening WWDC keynote. Apple struggling to close music deal before WWDC, revamped Beats announcement still planned

Apple does not have the key music deals it needs to launch its revamped Beats streaming service before the World Wide Developers Conference in June, according to Billboard, but 9to5Mac says an announcement will still be made at the event. A 9to5Mac source claims Apple will announce the improved streaming service at the June 8th WWDC keynote before the company releases new versions of its Music app, Beats and iTunes Radio as part of iOS 8.4 and iTunes 12.2.

Apple releases guidelines for third party Apple Watch bands

Apple published guidelines for creating third party Apple Watch bands to its developer website on Monday. The website includes a 12-page PDF titled "Band Design Guidelines for Apple Watch" and a link for downloading the Apple Watch lug profile. The "Made for Apple Watch" program does not include guidelines for other accessories such as chargers.

Despite announcing yet another stellar quarter, Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) stock lost about 2.5% last week, opening Monday at $132.31 and closing Friday at $128.95. Share prices still hit an all time high of $134.46 on Tuesday during some of the heaviest trading of the year (volume was 118,924,000).
