Update: Pokémon Go has been updated to version 1.0.1 with security fixes.

• Trainers do not to have to enter their username and password repeatedly after a force logout.
• Added stability to Pokémon Trainer Club account log-in process.
• Resolved issues causing crashes.
• Fixed Google account scope.

The internet blew up on Monday after it was discovered that some Pokémon GO players had unknowingly granted the game's developer Niantic full access to their Google accounts. Signing up for the game using your Google profile grants Nintanic permission to view and modify all the information stored in your account, including your Gmail and Google Drive documents. Users can only sign up to Pokémon GO through Google or with an existing Pokémon Trainer account, which means Niantic has access to a lot of Google profiles.

Showing the back panel of the iPhone 7 case, the photo is further confirmation of design tweaks that have been previously discussed. The reconfigured antenna lines, here in white on a gold colored model, wrap around the edges of the device. A larger opening for the camera is also clearly visible.

The more and more we learn about iOS 10, the clearer it becomes that this iOS is not necessarily a complete overhaul of iOS as we know it, but rather a sort of “greatest hits” collection of those little improvements that Apple fans have been requesting for some time.

After setting the internet ablaze by releasing Pokémon GO to the New Zealand and Australian App Stores, Niantic's augmented reality game has quickly become the number one free download on iTunes, replacing NBA Live Mobile. The game is so popular it has even caused the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services in Australia to release this warning on Facebook:

"For those budding Pokemon Trainers out there using Pokemon Go - whilst the Darwin Police Station may feature as a Pokestop, please be advised that you don't actually have to step inside in order to gain the pokeballs."

The first iOS 10 public beta has arrived. Anyone enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program can now download and install the latest and greatest version of iOS to test out on their devices. The release comes hot on the heels of iOS 10 beta 2, which was recently seeded to developers. Alongside iOS 10, Apple has launched the public beta of macOS Sierra.
