Pokémon GO has extended Professor Willow’s Global Research Challenge. Throughout the months of June, July and August Pokémon trainers have been busy completing a variety of research tasks for Professor Willow, and starting September 13 at 1:00 PM (PDT) they will be rewarded with an Ultra Bonus Event.

The Pokémon Company has launched another iOS game, hot on the heels of its successful release of Pokémon GO across the globe. Magikarp Jump features one of the most lowly, pathetic and useless Pokémon ever created. Incredibly, the entire game is all about raising the weak Magikarp into a truly majestic creature. Popular Pokémon such as Piplup and Pikachu will even appear to help your special Magikarp grow.

Niantic announces Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza for Spring Break

Niantic announced today that it will hold a Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza over Easter weekend and Spring break. Starting today at 1:00 P.M. PDT a greater variety of select Pokémon will be available in the wild. Trainers will also earn more Candy for every Egg they hatch and level up even faster with double XP. In addition to all the extra bonuses, Lucky Eggs will be 50% off in-game shops allowing players to potentially earn up to four times as much XP throughout the event.

Pokémon Duel lands on the US App Store

After launching in Japan, Pokémon Duel is finally available on the US App Store and other regions. Unfortunately the game's servers are currently under maintenance and it wont be available to play until later today. Just to be clear, Pokémon Duel is available to download through this link, but you won't be able to access the game until at least 4:00pm.

Update: Pokémon Duel is up and running in the US.

Yelp adds PokéStop filter to search results

Seems like everywhere one goes nowadays there is someone hunting down Pokémon with their iPhone. Yelp has decided to get in on the action, and now Yelpers can utilize a search filter designed to help find local businesses close to PokéStops. The company announced the new feature on its official blog.
