iPhone Screen Protectors Shipping Free to European iPhone Owners

Though we've been well aware of ShieldZone's free domestic shipping policy for all invisibleSHIELD mobile phone screen protectors, including the iPhone and iPod Touch, the good news is that this extends beyond US shores. ShieldZone (Zagg Inc.) is offering free shipping to the UK, France, Germany, and all over Europe. In fact, international shipping is free, period.

The invisibleSHIELD is made from a revolutionary material used to protect digital devices from scratches and wear and tear. Due to the shield's toughness and application ease, it is viewed by many to be the best screen protectors on the market. More specifically, according to ShieldZone,

The invisibleSHIELD is the toughest, most durable gadget scratch protection film available on planet Earth. The film has its origins in the U.S. military, where it was used to protect the leading edges of helicopter blades from wear and tear while traveling hundreds of miles per hour. Our proprietary film is a clear, urethane plastic (invisible, invincible) with unique properties that allow it to provide self-healing qualities and unparalleled abrasion resistance.

But don't take their word for it, read our in-depth review of the invisibleSHIELD for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Though international orders shipped freely won't include tracking information offered on orders shipped within the US, the important part is that there will be no charge. Regardless of the number of protectors ordered, the free shipping policy remains intact.

Of course, free shipping applies to invisibleSHIELD protectors order directly through ShieldZone.

iPhone Firmware 1.1.2 Available

Last night, iPhone firmware version 1.1.2 became available. Though available for download here, the firmware is still not available via the iTunes auto-update feature. Strangely, however, if performing a restore on your iPhone via iTunes, iTunes will download and install the 1.1.2 firmware. Clearly it is only a matter of time, likely within the next few hours, before 1.1.2 is fully integrated with iTunes.

Almost 150,000 iPhone Owners Jailbreak with One Step "AppSnapp"

A few days ago we told you about AppSnapp, a single-step process for jailbreaking iPhones running firware version 1.1.1 that doesn't require a PC and improves the overall security of your iPhone. With all that going for it, it comes as no surprise that AppSnapp was, to say the least, very well received by the iPhone community.

According to iPhoneAtlas, in the three days that have elapsed since AppSnapp was released and made available to iPhone users via jailbreakme.com, almost 150,000 users have used

AppSnapp Offers One Step Jailbreak of 1.1.1 iPhones and iPod Touch

The last week or two has seen releases or updates to many popular GUI applications which let you jailbreak an iPhone running firmware version 1.1.1 in a semi-automated fashion. Unfortunately, all of these required multiple steps and a good deal of user interaction. Consider that burden a thing of the past. With the recent release of AppSnapp, owners of iPhones running firmware 1.1.1 can now jailbreak their iPhone and be ready to install third party applications in a single step.

Accessory Offers A2DP Bluetooth on the Apple iPhone

One of the still outstanding "head scratchers" regarding the Apple iPhone is the continued lack of support for the A2DP Bluetooth profile. Considering the iPhone's roots are in the iPod, a stereo music player, it is quite astounding that as we sit here already up to iPhone firmware 1.1.1, there is still no native support for A2DP. The good news is that this doesn't mean A2DP is unavailable to iPhone users.

For those of you unfamiliar with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), A2DP is a Bluetooth profile that allows for the wireless transmission of stereo audio from a source (i.e. a phone or computer) to an A2DP receiver (a set of Bluetooth headphones or stereo system).

Back to the good news. Though the iPhone itself does not support A2DP directly (at this time), all iPhone owners can still
