The jailbreak tweak FolderJumper brings a new shortcut to iOS users. Once installed and configured, any folder on the iOS home screen can be opened instantly using an Activator gesture. For anyone who frequently uses particular folders, FolderJumper can save several steps when accessing these locations. The magic happens after placing the folder names into a list under settings.

Lightroom users can enjoy several enhancements and new features in the latest version of the mobile app. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for iPhone version 2.1 is now available on the App Store. The update brings iOS 9 and iPad Pro compatibility to the table, as well as several new ways to capture and adjust images on the go. Photographers can also use Lightroom for mobile to share pictures, and with a Creative Cloud membership even more features can be unlocked.

App launchers are a popular category when it comes to jailbreak tweaks. Fern throws its hat in the ring with a two-part launcher, providing easy access to favorite apps. The launcher is invoked with an Activator action. Once displayed, swiping left or right on Fern will display the favorite apps or the complete app list.

One of the more interesting features introduced with OS X Yosemite darkens the status bar and dock. This dark mode is simple enough to toggle in System Preferences, lending app menus across the board a reversed look. With white text and dark backgrounds, dark mode is excellent for working at night, or anytime. Now with the jailbreak tweak Nightmode9, a similar look can be toggled system-wide on iOS devices using an Activator action.

Since the addition of 3D Touch to the iPhone 6s, iOS users have enjoyed more ways to interact with their devices. App icons are no different, with many supporting quick actions directly from the home screen. Now that iOS 9 has been jailbroken, developers are setting their sights on expanding the capabilities of 3D Touch. The tweak Appendix seeks to add more functionality to app folders, by making it possible to open apps directly by invoking 3D Touch.
