Zynga, the creators of Words with Friends, have released Crosswords With Friends to the App Store. While not perfect, Crosswords is still the new must have time killing app to install on your iOS device, but first let me warn you that you can't play this game head-to-head like you do with Words. There is a tournament section for weekly rankings but the game is primarily a solo endeavor. You can't directly compete against your friends or solve a puzzle together.

Market research firm Strategy Analytics has declared Apple the wearable device leader in the first quarter of 2017. According to the report, Apple captured 16 percent of the total market for wearables during the first three months of the year. In fact, Apple and Xiaomi bumped Fitbit out of the top slot, representing a significant challenge to the previous market leader.

Amazon Prime app coming to Apple TV

Amazon video fans may soon be able to watch their favorite Prime shows and movies directly on the Apple TV. Currently, Amazon Prime Video subscribers must AirPlay streaming content to the set top box using an iOS device like the iPhone or iPad. According to reports, a native Apple TV app from Amazon should arrive in the App Store during the third quarter of 2017.

It is best used on Apple TV, Roku or the PlayStation, but there is a mobile version available for watching television on your iPhone or iPad. Pluto offers a variety of free live channels including major news sources such as NBC News & MSNBC, Sky News and The Weather Network. It also includes a variety of specialty channels like Pro Wrestling, Stand Up and the Crime Network.
