Fans of The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, TURN and other AMC original series can now watch directly on the Apple TV. iOS App of the Week: Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble

Wibble Wobble

I'm shocked that Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble has been struggling to find an audience. The latest tired Angry Birds game has managed to claw its way into the top 25 on the App Store charts, and Wibble Wobble is nowhere to be found. Wibble Wobble is a free-to-play, no IAP required, RPG/matching game that has so much replay value it is insane. I've been playing it nonstop for over a month and I can't stop collecting or training new teams of Yo-Kai.

Four CareKit-enabled apps now available on the Apple App Store

CareKit Apps

Apple COO, Jeff Williams unveiled CareKit last month during Apple's iPhone SE keynote. CareKit is Apple's third medical platform following HealthKit and ResearchKit. The new software framework allows developers to create apps for users to "actively manage their own medical conditions," according to Apple.

"iPhone apps using CareKit make it easier for individuals to keep track of care plans and monitor symptoms and medication; providing insights that help people better understand their own health. With the ability to share information with doctors, nurses or family members, CareKit apps help people take a more active role in their health."

Apple: iPhone SE demand exceeds current supply

iPhone SE shipping times

For weeks, Apple has offered 2-3 week shipping times on the iPhone SE. The situation continues, with the company trying to meet "very strong" demand according to yesterday's fiscal Q2 earnings call. Although Apple hasn't released sales figures, demand for the updated 4-inch iPhone is higher than anticipated. Apple is working to reduce iPhone SE shipping times, which are currently overnight for the iPhone 6s.

Nintendo teases Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem coming to mobile

Animal Crossing

Nintendo last year announced the company's plans to release 5 mobile titles before the end of 2017. The first title Miitomo was released in March to mixed reviews. Some found the social networking game to be addicting, while others were disappointed it wasn't a more classic Nintendo title starring a well known character, such as Mario. On Wednesday, the video game company gave the fans their wish by tweeting, "more #Nintendo apps are coming to smart devices, including Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing!"
