Having problems with a Smart Battery Case on the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR? You may be eligible for a new case from Apple. The company recently announced its official Smart Battery Case replacement program. While the program does not extend the standard warranty on battery cases, it covers affected units for up to two years after the original retail sale.

As expected, Apple has launched the official Smart Battery Case for its 2019 iPhone lineup. The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max each have their own Smart Battery Case models in various colors. This year the case features a dedicated camera button, which launches the Camera app and captures still images or video right away. The camera button works whether the iPhone is locked or unlocked, further increasing the iPhone 11 lineup's focus on photography.

An internal product merchandising guide has been revealed by Appleosophy showing Smart Battery Cases for the latest iPhone models. The document, dated Fall 2018, was leaked from an internal Apple Store guide titled "Apple Premium Reseller Accessory Merchandising Guidelines". Apple's current case lineup is featured on the page, which falls under the Seasonal Accessory Colors section of the Product Merchandising chapter.

Apple today has released a new battery case for the iPhone 6 and 6s. The Smart Battery Case promises to extend your battery life while protecting your phone from damage. The new iPhone accessory allows you to charge your case and iPhone at the same time using your Lightning to USB Cable, and it is also compatible with Apple's iPhone Lightning Dock.
