The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max introduced Apple's U1 chip with Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology. This feature allows the iPhone to understand its location in relation to other UWB devices, providing what Apple calls "GPS at the scale of your living room". For example, AirDrop knows when you're pointing your iPhone at another iPhone to share content between devices.

As expected, Apple has launched the official Smart Battery Case for its 2019 iPhone lineup. The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max each have their own Smart Battery Case models in various colors. This year the case features a dedicated camera button, which launches the Camera app and captures still images or video right away. The camera button works whether the iPhone is locked or unlocked, further increasing the iPhone 11 lineup's focus on photography.

If you recently purchased one of Apple's new iPhone 11 models, or any other model for that matter, you really should protect it with a quality case. Even if you don't mind a few scratches and dings, you are going to want to protect your investment's resale/trade-in value, which will come into play the next time you want to upgrade your phone, considering how expensive they are these days.

iPhones in recent years have gotten quite big, including the iPhone 11 series. Adding a case makes them even bigger and/or bulkier, but at their hefty prices you definitely want to protect your investment from scratches, dents and cracked screens, if not for your own satisfaction, then at least to hold resale value. So if you are going to add some more bulk to your iPhone, why not lose some elsewhere by getting rid of your wallet? If you typically get by just carrying plastic or a little bit of cash, there are plenty of iPhone cases that double as wallets.
