ZiPhone Jailbreak Still Works on iPhone Firmware 1.1.4

Well, even though today hasn't brought the official iPhone SDK, there is still some good news in regards to 1.1.4 and third party software. The good news is, thanks to previously release methods, you can evidently upgrade to 1.1.4 and still enjoy third party software.

Now confirmed by such reliable sources as noted iPhone hacker Nate True, ZiPhone has proven effective on phones updated to the newest version of iPhone firmware.

The continuing success of these methods seems a direct result of the lack of major changes in the new firmware. All indications are that the firmware includes a few minor bugfixes, and very little else. Thus, methods developed previously to jailbreak firmware 1.1.3 continue to work on 1.1.4.

Details on whether unlocking and activation methods effective on 1.1.3 continue to work with 1.1.4 are still forthcoming.

Correction posted above. ZiPhone can be used to jailbreak 1.1.4, however - iJailbreak, previously mentioned as effective on 1.1.4, cannot be used.

i recently tried the ziphone hack on my ipod touch 1.1.4 and it went wrong all that shows up on the screen is white letters on an all black screen the white letters say BSD root: major 2, minor 0 does anybody know how to fix this or am i gonna have to break the ipod and use my warranty to get a new one?

Ok this is what u do
1. Go to the creen where it says BSd major root etc.
2. Hold the power button and the home button until it turns off.
3. Next unplug your ipod from the computer.
4. Hold the home button and then while holding it plug it in.
5. IF this doesnt work try steps 3 and 4 again.
