Amazon video fans may soon be able to watch their favorite Prime shows and movies directly on the Apple TV. Currently, Amazon Prime Video subscribers must AirPlay streaming content to the set top box using an iOS device like the iPhone or iPad. According to reports, a native Apple TV app from Amazon should arrive in the App Store during the third quarter of 2017.

Pluto TV is a free, commercial-supported linear television service for cord cutters. It is best used on Apple TV, Roku or the PlayStation, but there is a mobile version available for watching television on your iPhone or iPad. Pluto offers a variety of free live channels including major news sources such as NBC News & MSNBC, Sky News and The Weather Network. It also includes a variety of specialty channels like Pro Wrestling, Stand Up and the Crime Network.

The all-new Hulu experience has officially launched on the App Store. Subscribers can enjoy all of Hulu's on-demand content in a redesigned iOS app. One of the main attractions is the addition of live streaming TV channels, which are available as an account add-on for a higher price. The service includes over 50 channels, along with 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage for recording live feeds.

AirPods have broken new ground when it comes to customer satisfaction. The wireless headphones, launched in late 2016 are still in their first year of release. Consumers have registered the highest satisfaction compared to any new product in Apple history. According to Creative Strategies and Experian, fully 98 percent of AirPod owners are satisfied with their purchase.

Apple is poised to launch its own Siri-based personal assistant accessory, which would compete with the Amazon Echo and Google Home. In fact, according to Ming-Chi Kuo at KGI Securities the chances of Apple revealing the new device at WWDC are over 50 percent. This year's developer conference is scheduled for June 5-9 in San Jose.
