The original iPhone data carrier continues to improve its LTE and 4G service with numerous investments in network technology across the United States. AT&T has recently announced 4G LTE service in 30 new markets across the country, steadily rolling out the fastest data service to more customers.

Although Verizon Wireless is ahead in the coverage game with more markets on LTE nationwide, speed tests are different. AT&T dominates as the fastest mobile data service, according to independent tests by Consumer Reports, PC World, and Rootmetrics. So where can AT&T subscribers begin enjoying these fast LTE speeds on their iOS devices?

Code for an Android-like voice dictation feature has been discovered in iOS 7 by Hamza Sood. While iOS 6 currently features the ability to use voice commands to write text, the process requires that data be sent to Apple's servers so the speech can be converted. This can result in Siri-like mistakes, long loading times, and other internet related problems such as data consumption. The new string of code discovered in both iOS 7 betas shows Apple is testing the possibility of introducing an offline version of dictation.

This means all iOS devices could potentially feature the ability to locally process and convert speech, allowing for faster voice dictation of emails, text messages and notes. 9to5Mac has learned some internal Apple devices already have this service up and running.

A few days after Vine introduced new features like "Revining", Instagram countered by adding landscape mode for both images and video. While Vine users are stuck shooting their six second videos in portrait mode, Instagram users can now shoot their fifteen second videos anyway they want. Hopefully Instagram users will take advantage of this new feature and escape the clutches of the dreaded Vertical Video Syndrome. Instagram version 4.0.2 also brings Cinema support to the front-facing camera. This feature was introduced for the rear-facing camera when video was originally launched for the app. The upgrade is available now for all current users. New users can download Instagram from the App Store for free.

Vine has finally added "protected posts" in its most recent update. Previously there was no way to make your videos or profile private, and anyone in the Vine community could view them. Now it is easy to block your boss, stalkers and anyone else from viewing your six second videos. Here's how to protect your Vine posts: Tap the Home button on the top left hand corner and navigate to -> Profile -> Settings -> Your Content. You can then tap the "Posts are protected" slider to turn on the privacy feature. Now only the people you approve to follow you can see your videos, unless you decide to share them on Facebook or Twitter. You can also activate the "Sensitive posts" slider to warn people about your racy videos.
