Adobe is known for making complex software like Photoshop, not releasing free apps for Apple products, but that's exactly what the company did this week. Adobe's new iOS App called Voice is geared towards professionals and students, but it is also accessible to your basic consumer. Adobe describes its new video creation tool as a new way to breathe "new life into static presentation formats".

The app allows users to create animated video presentations to be used on social media or shared on mobile devices. Adobe Voice promises to be easier than shooting a video and better way to get your message across than using a slide-show presentation.

Several sources, including the Finacial Times and Bloomberg, have reported that Apple Inc. (AAPL) is in talks to purchase Beats Electronics LLC for $3.2 billion. If true, this would be the most money Apple has ever paid to acquire another company. But why is Apple considering paying so much for Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s music accessory company? According to various sources, Apple is reportedly looking to bolster its music-offerings by incorporating Shazam's song ID feature in iOS 8. The company's iTunes Radio has also also gotten off to a slow start, but adding Beats Music could help change all that.

The list of retailers using Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) iBeacon technology continues to grow, as New York City pharmacy chain Duane Reade and British airline Virgin Atlantic both announce plans to deploy the Bluetooth low energy (BLE) transmitters at their places of business.

Apple's iBeacon is the company's trademark indoor positioning system that uses Bluetooth low energy technology, also known as Bluetooth Smart, to interact with mobile devices via transmitters. iBeacon first debuted at Apple's WWDC in June 2013, and the number of major retailers adopting the technology has been growing

Here are three new and two classic baseball titles currently available for iOS devices.

MLB Perfect Inning (Free for all devices running iOS 5.1 or later) - This is the newest iOS game fully-licensed by Major League Baseball. Perfect Inning is a simulation game that allows you to draft and train players to compete in a full- or post-season games. Basically you act as the coach deciding on your lineup, tactics and so on. You can let the AI control your team, play only at crucial moments, play offense only or complete an entire match yourself. The game features 30 MLB teams and a roster of 215 players modeled after their real life counterparts.

Uber Entertainment (Super Monday Night Combat) in partnership with Tilting Point has announced that Toy Rush will be available for iOS devices on May 15th. The new title mixes the popular tower defense and collectible card game genres. In the game, players can attack their opponent with powerful toys like flying unicorns while defending their base with marble shooters and other weird towers. The game will feature over 50 levels and the ability to customize your base and defenses by earning and opening new card packs. Pricing is unknown at this time.

Ubisoft announced on Tuesday that it is bringing the 1998 PC game Anno to the iPad. Anno is a resource management title where players must build their empire from the ground up. Users can build specific buildings, such as houses and taverns, to keep their citizens happy and healthy. The iPad version is being rebuilt for mobile devices and will be officially called Anno: Build an Empire.
