There were quite a few App Store and app-related stories this week, so let's jump right in! Apple added a Best New Game Updates section to the App Store. As the title suggests, the new category highlights some of the best apps that have recently been updated with new levels and so on. You can find it underneath the Best New Games section on the App Store.
Versus Evil announced this week that Stoic Studio's The Banner Saga is getting a mobile release this summer, and Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution 2 is hitting iOS devices on July 2nd.
A few apps received some major updates including The Weather Channel App for iPad, which got an iOS 7 makeover, and Amazon added more HBO content to its movie streaming app.
On Friday, YouTube announced it is bringing its Creator Studio to iOS in "coming weeks". The new app allows users to manage their videos from their mobile device, and adds other features such as a tip button.
Here are this week's most noteworthy apps, games and JB tweaks released to the App Store and Cydia through 06/22/14 to 06/28/14. Apple's Free App of the Week is Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Pure player-versus-player stuffing-shed! Battle Bears is a cute but deadly FPS shooter that features 4v4 multiplayer team based battles, thousands of character customizations, and clans. The developers also promise that the game will receive new updates every "2-3 weeks".

We were going to make this our App of the Week, but the low 2 1/2 App Store rating made us worrisome. There are a lot of customer complaints about the game not working on the iPhone 4s, so keep that in mind before purchasing this app. The game is based on Monty Python's The Ministry of Silly Walks sketch. It features the voice of John Cleese and randomised obstacle creation so you never have to play the same level twice. It sounds like a must have for Monty Python fans, but only if it works.
Swipe Quest: $0.99 for the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad (Requires iOS 4.3 or later) Rated 4+
This puzzle game features RPG and match three elements. Players can swipe up, down, left, or right to move their hero and create stronger attacks by connecting matching tiles. The game includes different heroes to unlock, random quests and RPG stats.
Manuganu 2: $0.99 for the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad (Requires iOS 5.0 or later) Rated 4+
Help Manuganu rescue his best friend in this action platformer. Features 3D character and environment design, 4 boss battles, an original soundtrack by Burak Karakaş and iOS 7 controller support.
