Everything that's purchased from Apple using your Apple ID can be viewed in one consolidated list. To see apps, TV shows, subscriptions, books, and more, anyone with an Apple ID and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch can head to Settings. Alternatively, purchases made with an Apple ID can be viewed from anywhere with a web browser.
With another year coming to a close, the editors at Apple have weighed in on their favorite apps and games of 2019. Top picks include titles designed for the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and more. For this year's awards, games were given their own category. Apple also designated "Storytelling Simplified" as the App Trend of 2019. The trend cited apps which help the creators of podcasts, novels, and photo collages tell stories in their own voices.
Apple keeps a record of every app purchased or downloaded using your Apple ID. Instead of searching the app store to re-install a missing app, the list of previously purchased apps can be viewed or searched quickly. Once the title is found, the app can be re-downloaded to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with one tap.
Nintendo's ultra-popular Mario Kart series continues on September 25th with the launch of Mario Kart Tour. The long awaited game was originally announced back in February but was delayed. Now it is available for pre-order which, if you are wondering why you'd want to pre-order, will send you a notification as soon as it is available, and automatically download it if you have that feature turned on on your iPhone.
iPhone and iPad owners who download and install iOS 13 will notice that the App Store has received a minor tweak. You can now access your Apple account by tapping your icon photo in the top right hand corner of the App Store. From here, you can manage your account, redeem gift cards, get recommendations and update your apps. You can also now delete apps from the Available Updates section.
