Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards

Kongregate and Fox Digital Entertainment announced on Monday that American Dad!, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, Futurama, and King of the Hill will all be represented in its new collectible card game for mobile devices. Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards is the ultimate crossover with characters from all five animated comedies being represented.

“We are thrilled to bring together these five animated comedies for the first time in Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards.” said Emily Greer, president and co-founder of Kongregate. “We are looking forward to integrating characters from these hit series in a unique and exciting way that fans of all the shows will really love.”

Another day brings another image drop from sources in the Far East. The supply chain has been leaking parts photos for some time now, most recently focused on the iPhone 7 headphone jack. Two more images from separate sources seem to confirm that larger cameras are on the way in the next generation iPhone.

It has been a big week for RPG fans, not only has Pocket Mortys been updated with new content, but Cartoon Network and Grumpyface Studios has released their own Pokémon clone, Teeny Titans. The new RPG takes place in the Teen Titans Go universe where everyone has gone crazy over collecting interactive DC action figures. The game is a spoof on the recent real world action figure craze started by Activision's Skylanders series. In the game you play as Robin, who is on a mission to collect all 70 of the availble DC figures. The game is played just like Pokémon where you can collect and build your own team to compete in 1-on-1 battles with other collectors.

Cartoon Network releases Pokémon spoof Teeny Titans to Apple App Store

As promised, Cartoon Network and Grumpyface Studios has released its "figure battling RPG," Teeny Titans to the Apple App Store. Teeny Titans is a Pokémon-style game where players collect different action figures from the Teen Titans universe. In a demo video posted by Touch Arcade, Grumpyface Studios describes the game as a "parody of the Skylanders and amiibo action figure collecting craze." The goal of the game is to collect the 70 action figures based on Teen Titans Go, Young Justice, the 80s Teen Titans and other characters from the DC universe.

Apple TV gets expanded universal search content

Universal search on the fourth-generation Apple TV continues to improve. The latest enhancement brings multiple new channels into the mix, providing an easy way to find content anywhere with a single question to Siri. Nine new channels are taking advantage of the feature, including History, Food Network, Travel Channel, Lifetime, and A&E.
