We interrupt the Halloween App of the Week to bring you this PSA: Sid Meier's Civilization VI is now availble for the iPhone, and it is currently 60% off. It was a pleasant surprise when Aspyr Media originally released a full port of Civilization VI for the iPad. I never considered the chance that they would bring it to the iPhone, but I was wrong, this week the iPad version has been updated with iPhone support.

We were a bit confused when One Hour One Life originally hit the App Store, but now that we've had more than a few weeks to play we are hoping more people discover the game. The goal of One Hour One Life is to craft and build a civilization. To do this you need many players to work together. This is typically hard to do because not only do you need people to pay to download the game, but you also need a specific type of player who is interested in crafting. Perhaps One Hour One Life might fare a little better as a freemium title with IAPs, but I digress.

Where Shadows Slumber is a puzzle game that utilizes light and perspective to create an atmospheric adventure perfect for the Halloween season. There will be lots of comparisons to Monument Valley, but Where Shadows Slumber also reminded me a lot of Lara Croft GO. If you like surreal puzzle games that include an engrossing story then this is an app you'll want to check out.
