The latest update to iOS dropped last week, with Apple releasing iOS 11.1.1 to the general public. While the update is minor, for some iPhone owners the install takes on greater importance. The main problem, which is fixed by iOS 11.1.1 revolves around the keyboard and auto-correct. On some devices, iOS users can't type the letter "i" at all. The keyboard automatically replaces "i" with a strange character, sometimes appearing as an "A" followed by a question mark symbol.

As if ordering food online wasn't already quick and easy enough, Facebook recently added its own feature that lets you order food without even having to leave the app. It isn’t really its own feature, but rather a partnership with existing delivery services like Grubhub, Delivery.com, DoorDash, ChowNow, and EatStreet to name a few, as well as individual chains like Jack in the Box, Five Guys, Papa John’s and Panera. According to the social media giant, this will make ordering food easier because you won’t have to search multiple services to find the restaurant you want.

"Stories" became an instant success when Snapchat introduced the feature in late 2013, so much so that Facebook-owned Instagram basically cloned it, called it the same thing and also found enormous success. Facebook's Messenger and WhatsApp added similar features and earlier this year Facebook itself added its own novelly named "Stories" feature. Unlike its predecessors though, Facebook's version has been a dismal failure so far.

The iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X will all be capable of fast charging, a feature that Apple claims will allow you to charge your handset to 50% or more within 30 minutes. Unfortunately, you will need some hardware that doesn't come in the box to achieve this.

For those with iOS 11 or later installed, Apple has added a new option to power off an iPhone or iPad without using a physical button. The sleep/wake or power button has always been a fixture of the iPhone. Also known as the side or top button, this switch will wake or sleep iOS with a quick press.
