Choosing an alarm in the iOS Clock app includes setting a time, deciding on a sound, and even adding or removing a vibration pattern. But when it comes to the alarm volume, this adjustment is nowhere to be found. Changing the alarm ring volume takes place in the main Settings, not in the Clock app.

iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners who routinely type in different languages may notice that the default spell check flags foreign language words that are unrecognized in English. iOS makes it possible to add one or more additional languages to the keyboard. Once these keyboards are added, the built-in spell check will use dictionaries for all of the languages installed.

iPhone alarms can keep the day moving, from a wake up call to reminders for weekly events. By default, the iPhone likes to vibrate, which makes alarms harder to miss. But sometimes the sound of an alarm going off is enough, especially when your iPhone is resting on a hard table or night stand.

Users of Apple Pay Cash may be asked to verify their identity as they approach the $500 mark of money added or payments received. Beyond this limit, identity verification is required to use the service. Green Dot Bank, which provides the Apple Pay Cash card and person-to-person payments must verify its customers to comply with federal law.

The ride sharing experiment has been a huge success offering an affordable and reliable option to public transportation and taxis. Companies like Uber and Lyft have elevated the overall experience and expectations of the transportation service by attracting helpful and personable drivers. Riders can help keep the high level of service by rating their drivers using Uber and Lyft's 5-star rating system. After each ride, passengers are asked to rate their individual driver and comment on their experience using the service. This encourages drivers to go above and beyond what is expected, and has caused many to be very creative on how they treat their passengers. Some dedicated drivers offer riders free amenities such as mints, water, and handi-wipes, while others provide phone chargers and even the ability to watch videos or play video games. However, as with any business that employs a large number of people there is also the occasional rotten egg.
