Adult Swim's Castle Doombad Updated With 15 New Slaycation Levels

Adult Swim has released version 1.1 of its popular game Castle Doombad. The update adds 15 new "slaycation" levels, new traps and minions. The new traps include the Iron Maiden and a new manual trap called the Giant Boulder of Death. The new minion is a "spark" minion who zips along the castle walls and zaps heroes. The slaycation levels also up the ante by adding a second Beach Princess for players to protect, and introduce the new Hasselhoff Lifeguard and Galaxy Soldier heroes.

Castle Doombad is one of the best games released for mobile devices this year. Players can use a variety of automated traps, manual traps and little creatures to defend Evilstein's castle.

New iOS App Allows You to Make Animated Gifs of Your Friends

Stryke is a new app which allows you to turn videos into .gifs and share them via iMessage or on social networking sites such as Facebook. The official App Store description claims Stryke is "an app to troll your friends," but I'm not exactly sure what that means. However, it does seem like a fun app for fans of Vine and Snapchat who are looking for something new to play with.

Stryke: Troll your friends

Stryke works by allowing you to create animated images from videos on your Photo app. You can use already existing videos on your camera roll or create new ones using the app's Vine-like video tool. The app also allows you to add "witty" captions and music to your creations before you share them.

How to Monitor Your iPhone Data Usage

iOS 6 added the ability to check how much data you use but it didn't reveal the breakdown of your usage. Luckily Apple remedied the situation with iOS 7 by adding a System Services feature that tells you how much cellular data you are using per app. This is a great tool for helping you pick a data plan, or to see why you tend to go over your data plan each month. Here's how to check your cellular data usage in iOS 7.

How to Monitor Cellular Data

First open your Settings app and tap the tab marked "Cellular". It is located right underneath the Bluetooth settings. Scroll down until you see your Call Time log and Cellular Data Usage stats. Just below Current Period Roaming you will see an alphabetical list of all the apps which you allow to use cellular data. If you scroll down further, you will see the Systems Services option.
