Setting the volume on iPhone is easy enough, especially with Control Center and physical buttons on the side. The only drawback to this simplicity is that volumes for different things are changed automatically. For example, playback volume can be adjusted when media is playing. Now the jailbreak tweak VolumePanel brings complete control to volume settings for multiple apps.
Once installed, VolumePanel adds volume sliders for various apps and media sources. These can be used to preset volume levels for any app. Not only this but the multi-colored sliders can be accessed directly from Control Center or by using an Activator gesture. Bringing up the VolumePanel in Control Center requires a tap on the button, then scrolling left or right to access more individual app volume controls.
There are many options to configure, such as the VolumePanel button location, slider colors, and which apps to show. VolumePanel supports the iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 8 or iOS 9 with a jailbreak installed.
