Transformers: Forged to Fight and Alto's Odyssey trailers hit the web

Hasbro and Kabam unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming fighting game Transformers: Forged to Fight at the New York Toy Fair over the weekend. The new title is a reskin of the popular Marvel Contest of Champions with a few new tweaks, including ranged attacks and the ability to side-step attacks. The game also features 3D environments, a new Transformers story and the ability to build and defend your own base.

Fire Emblem Heroes takes the App Store by storm

Nintendo has another mobile hit on its hands with the release of Fire Emblem Heroes for iOS. According to data released by SensorTower, Nintendo's second mobile title garnered almost $3 million in revenues on its first day in the wild. When compared to the top grossing games of 2016, Fire Emblem Heroes takes third place after Super Mario Run, edging out Clash Royale. The top game by far remains Pokémon GO.

Nintendo fans can look forward to two or three mobile titles per year from the Japanese company, following its successful release of Super Mario Run. Fire Emblem Heroes is slated to launch today on iOS and Android, with Animal Crossing coming later this year. Nintendo previously announced up to five mobile titles would be launched before the end of 2017, however this has been scaled back according to a recent statement by Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 now available on the App Store and Google Play

The hit PC title and sequel to The Book of Unwritten Tales is now available for mobile devices. Unwritten Tales 2 has been released to both the Apple App Store and Google Play as a joint venture between publisher Deep Silver FISHLABS, its original developer KING Art Games, and THQ Nordic. The game was originally launched for Linux, Microsoft Windows and OS X in 2015. The game has earned a "Very Positive" rating on Steam for its old point-and-click adventure style.

Armor Games has brought its popular zombie RPG, Sonny to the Apple App Store. The classic Flash title has been "reimagined" for iOS with a new storyline and expanded gameplay, making it worth a look for both long-time fans and newcomers to the series. The game follows Sonny, who is killed on a boat during a zombie outbreak. He is saved after a scientist named Louis uses a special serum to help him retain his humanity. Sonny wakes up as a zombie with his mind intact but without his memories. His only connection to the world, Louis, is eventually killed by Zombie Pest Control Incorporated, and Sonny is left alone in a hostile world. Sonny must battle his way through paramilitary troops and other undead monstrosities to figure out the mystery behind his resurrection and to help save the world.
