Periscope has offered live 360-degree broadcasting capabilities for some time. Now the streaming video company is rolling out panoramic video broadcasting support to iOS users. This means anyone with an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch can create videos with a "LIVE 360" label, using a panoramic camera such as the Insta360 Nano.

AMC Networks released its official tvOS app for the fourth-generation Apple TV on the App Store. As is the case with many networks, the app is free to download but some content requires TV provider login for streaming access.

iOS Watch ABC App to Add Live Video in More Markets

Hot on the heels of CBS launching their streaming video app, ABC has followed suit with the Watch ABC app for iOS. Not only does the app provide streaming episodes of popular shows that have aired on ABC, but live video is available for TV fans in selected markets. Initially, the live video service is only available in New York and Philadelphia.

Down the line, more markets will receive the live video service, which basically duplicates the broadcast anyone can receive with an HD antenna in the local area. Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, Raleigh-Duram, and San Francisco are next on the list to receive live video service with Watch ABC, with the feature slated to arrive before the end of this summer.

Major League Baseball has released the 2012 update to its popular MLB.com At Bat mobile application. Now iPhone and iPad users can download and install the same app, which also means users with multiple iOS devices need only pay once. When it comes to paying for live content, MLB 2012 adds more options over last year's app.

Baseball fans can still grab the app for free, which provides live score updates. To hear live radio of games and watch the Gameday summary there are now two options, paying $14.99 once for the whole season or subscribing to the service for $2.99 per month. This also comes with a Live Game of the Day, stats, highlights and more.
