Getting the perfect selfie on iPhone starts with engaging the front camera. Unlike taking a photo with the back camera, the viewfinder simulates looking in the mirror. This means text and logos appear backwards. Move your hand to the right, and it moves to the right on the screen. Once the image is captured, it's stored in the Photos app under Recents.

Full resolution 4K video is available for YouTube on iOS 14 and iPadOS 14. Even the Apple TV 4K has finally received 2160p YouTube support with the launch of tvOS 14. Not all videos on the streaming service offer the maximum resolution, with many topping out at HD quality.

The Photos app on iOS devices has a special hidden album built-in. While the Hidden Album doesn't secure private photos, it's an easy way to keep images out of the main camera roll. Pictures that are hidden won't show up in Recents or any other album in the photo library. The only place they can be viewed is by opening the Hidden Album.

Siri continues to improve, with iOS 14 bringing many enhancements to the voice assistant. A completely new look ensures Siri doesn't take over your iPhone display when answering a question or performing tasks. For those who prefer more information on the screen, enabling full Siri transcription is an option under Settings.

Siri has a completely new look since the launch of iOS 14. Siri's compact design doesn't take over the screen like it used to on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Since the interface only covers the dock and delivers results in a banner, it's easier to keep the current task up front. The trade off for this compact design is that Siri no longer transcribes what it hears when asked a question.
