The photos widget on iPhone livens up the home screen with your favorite pictures. The only problem is there are probably some images in the Photos library that won't look great on the home screen. Luckily, with iOS 14 and later omitting some photos from the home screen widget is easy. Photos can be removed immediately when they appear, or hidden ahead of time.

After 25 years of dedicated service the Adobe Flash Player is kaput. The ball started rolling in 2010, when Steve Jobs published an open letter titled "Thoughts on Flash". Along with the letter, Apple refused to allow Flash to be installed on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. While it may have been a controversial stance at the time, in 2017 Adobe announced it was discontinuing Flash. The company officially dropped Flash support at the end of 2020.

Location services on the iPhone is constantly collecting and tracking the position of your device anywhere in the world. For most people this provides an incredible level of convenience for everyday activities, such as looking at maps or connecting with friends and family. On the flip side, there can be a dark side for privacy when it comes to personal data being shared.

Apple has begun an iPhone 11 repair program to address touch screen problems in a limited number of units manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020. If your touch screen has been unresponsive you may be eligible for a free replacement display module. Only the iPhone 11 is affected, not the iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max.
