Apple continues to offer users increased control over their iCloud data. One recent feature makes it easy to copy an entire iCloud Photo library to Google Photos. Instead of downloading photos locally and then uploading them to another service, Apple's Data and Privacy hub transfers them directly from iCloud to a Google account. The only limitation is storage space requirements.

If you are experiencing a problem with the side button on your iPhone, or you cannot press a physical button, the device can be shut down using only touch gestures. To prevent an accidental shut down, the power off feature is somewhat hidden.

Once the iPhone is switched off, it can be restarted without using the side button as well. Simply plug the iPhone into a charger with a Lightning cable and the device should boot up.

A limited number of Apple Watch units might not charge after entering Power Reserve mode. Power Reserve normally saves the last of the battery life remaining by shutting down all features except the time. Pressing the side button in Power Reserve displays the time and a red low battery icon. When the battery gets too low, the watch will automatically enter Power Reserve.
