The Apple Music app has arrived in the Microsoft Store for Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. Now Xbox users can try a one-month free trial of Apple Music directly on their game console, or log into their accounts to stream millions of songs. Apple Music subscriptions are completely ad-free and available across various devices.

Good news for fans of Apple and gaming. The Apple TV, iPhone and iPad can be used directly with Xbox One or PlayStation Dualshock 4 controllers. Bluetooth support for both controllers is included with tvOS 13, iOS 13, and iPadOS. Once your device(s) are updated, pairing an existing controller to use for supported apps and games takes place under Settings.

2K and Gearbox Software have just announced a extremely limited collector's edition for its Borderlands: The Handsome Collection coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The $400 "Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition" not only includes the definitive versions of both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, but it also ships with a remote-controlled Claptrap.
The Claptrap figure features PCB gyro technology so it can balance on one wheel and a real working camera is his eye. Users can see Claptrap's POV from the camera and control it from any iOS or Android mobile device using the official Claptrap app. The Handsome Collection also ships with 12 exclusive lithographs and a collectible steel case.

Shoppers who did not have the foresight to pre-order a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One may be left out in the cold this upcoming holiday season. Both the PS4 and Xbox One have already sold more than a million consoles worldwide, making stock impossible to find. However, some savvy holiday shoppers have been able to nab a next-generation console using the whohas.it iOS app.
The whohas.it app allows users to receive free mobile notifications, emails and desktop alarms when out of stock products like the PS4 and Xbox become available for sale through any retailer. The app is simple to use: Just download it for free from the Apple App Store and create a free account. Navigate to "Search" and locate the item(s) you're looking for then tap the "Follow" button. You can then choose to receive "Web Alerts," "Email Alerts," "Mobile Alerts, or all three. The app will then alert you when the item you're following becomes available for purchase or pre-order.

Xbox has released its Xbox One companion app for iOS and Android devices. The app doesn't feature much right now, but it will allow you to interact with your Xbox after the new console is released on Friday. Xbox One SmartGlass features include the ability to navigate your Xbox One console using your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, track achievements, get game help, message friends, and watch game clips.
You can download the Xbox One app now for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play. It requires iOS 6 or later or Android 4.0 or later.
