How to Send Unlimited iPhone Photos via Email

Sharing photos from your iOS device over email is great, until you run into the built-in limitation that prevents selecting over 5 photos. This means that if you have a large number of photos to send via email, the iPhone will force you to send them in several emails with 5 attachments each.

Instamail Photos iOS app

Thanks to developer Mohamed Alaoui Mrani, iOS users can download Instamail Photos from the App Store and send unlimited photos in one message. The app is currently on sale, priced at $0.99 for a limited time. Of course, you can't go sending too many photos in a single email, because most service providers limit the size of email messages.

iTunes 11 Update Restores Duplicate Item Search

iTunes 11 just got a minor update, but the new software is worth installing thanks to a key feature that's now back. Apple has restored the missing Show Duplicate Items option under the View menu. The feature was previously labeled Display Duplicates and was located under the File menu in iTunes 10.

iTunes 11.0.1 update

As you can imagine, the option shows all of the songs that are duplicated by artist and song name in your Music library. Besides just the duplicate search, Apple has also improved iTunes with AirPlay, iTunes Match and other stability improvements and bug fixes. Those who need to search a large library should also see faster response times.

Send iOS Apps as Gifts Directly from the iPhone

App Store users now have a convenient way to gift apps to friends and family. Apple has restored this function to iOS 6 by including the option on the sharing screen directly in the App Store. Not only can you gift an app today, but you can even schedule delivery of your gift for a future date.

The purchase you make will be sent to the gift recipient, who can download and install the gifted app for free. Charges for the gift will be applied to the iTunes account associated with your Apple ID. So how can you access this feature that comes to iOS 6 users just in time for the holidays?

Walmart Slashes iPhone 5, 4S and iPad 3 Prices

Update #3: From iLounge:

"Although iLounge contacted Walmart before posting this story to confirm that the $399 pricing did, in fact, apply to the fourth-generation iPad - and received unambiguous written confirmation of that detail from a spokesperson - the company has now retracted the claim, suggesting that the $399 price applies solely to the third-generation iPad."

However, we have received emails claiming some Walmarts are not even honoring the sale price for the iPad 3.

iPhone 5 Sale

Update #2: There seems to be some confusion as to what iPad is on sale. According to a Walmart rep, the deal is "the iPad 3 at the iPad 2 price". User comments on iLounge also say the deal is for the iPad 3.

"I just called my local Walmart and they said the $399 pricing is for the 16GB iPad 3rd generation, not the Retina display."

Update: Quick correction. Walmart is reducing the price of the iPad 3, not the fourth-generation iPad like we originally stated.

iBuku Pets: More Than Just an iPhone Case for Kids

Children have a habit of destroying electronic devices. Ask any parent who has loaned their iPhone or iPod touch to a kid so they could play games. Wouldn't it be better if you could protect the iOS device while providing educational entertainment to the little spuds?

iBuku Pets iPhone case

iBuku Pets provides just that, a protective and friendly contraption shaped like a bear that cradles the iPhone inside and prevents damage. Apparently, you can even throw your iBuku Pet down the stairs without harming the iOS device inside. The toy is made of completely non-toxic material, unlike some toys out there today.
