Night School and Telltale team up to release Mr. Robot mobile game

Telltale Games is known for its interactive video games based on popular TV shows, such as The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. Night School Studio is the creator of the award-winning video game, Oxenfree. The two have teamed up to release a new mobile title based on USA Network’s hit drama, Mr. Robot.

The television show follows Elliot Alderson, a cybersecurity engineer, who is recruited into a group of hacktivists by an anarchist known as "Mr. Robot." The game, titled Mr. Robot:1.51exfiltrati0n.ipa, takes place during the first season when you find a phone that belongs to a hacker who is about to commit a massive cybercrime. You eventually get caught up in the world of fsociety, Alderson's hacker group, and must use an E-Corp messaging app to communicate with different characters from the television show.

Every year Apple packs camera improvements into its new iPhone models, and this fall will be no different. The iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus have so far retained a monopoly on optical image stabilization (OIS), with the technology not making it to the smaller 4.7-inch iPhone 6 or 6s. iPhone owners are now accustomed to using FaceTime for video calling. With FaceTime installed across Apple's product line, for many the app represents the first and only video conferencing solution they've used. The problem is that with Android devices, callers cannot be reached using FaceTime. Today, Google entered its hat into the ring with Google Duo, a simple one-on-one video calling app.

Microsoft Office apps updated with new Draw tab for iPhone

A few days after Google updated its productivity apps with multitasking support for the iPad, Microsoft has added a new Draw tab to its suite of Office apps for the iPhone. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word users can now use their finger to write, draw and highlight documents on their iPhone. This is a great feature for iPad owners who are used to using their Apple Pencil to annotate Microsoft projects.

Report: MacBook Pro, iPhone 7 reveal on September 7

It's been four years since Apple has significantly updated the MacBook Pro, and change is on the horizon. While media reports have pointed to some interesting features in the pipeline, there has been some debate over when Apple will choose to reveal the new model line. The Michael Report now states with certainty that Apple will launch the MacBook Pro and iPhone 7 at the same event.
