The popular Gameboy Color and Game Boy Advanced emulator for iOS devices won't die! After surviving a DMCA take down by Nintendo, GBA4iOS, was sacked by an iOS 8 patch that killed the workaround which was required to install it on non-jailbroken iOS devices, but now the emulator is back in action! iPhone and iPad users running iOS 7 - 8.1 can download GBA4iOS 2.1 by simply visiting http://iemulators.com/gba4ios on their mobile browser.

Version 2.1 of the emulator does not require a jailbroken device, date trick and it works with iOS 8.1. You can learn more about the open beta of GBA4iOS 2.1, how to install it and how to add games to the emulator by watching the official video here. Remember, adding games you do not own is considered piracy.

With Black Friday just two weeks away, many retailers last week started announcing holiday shopping deals on Apple products. Walmart, Best Buy, Staples and Target, among others, will be offering discounts on select iPhone and iPad models, as well as Beats products for the biggest shopping day of the year. Aside from discounts, many of the chains will also offer rebates in the form of gift cards.

According to a Thursday report from the Wall Street Journal, the Department of Justice has had a program in place since 2007 that uses fake cell phone towers to locate people. The fake towers are actually Boeing-made devices know as "dirtboxes" that are mounted on small aircraft. By flying around and picking up a signal from the target's cell phone, the target's location can quickly be triangulated. According to the DoJ, non-target signals are "let go."

The jokes about the Robertson family releasing a Duck Dynasty tower defense game for iOS devices write themselves, but what's really weird is that the game, which has been available for a couple of days now, only has one review on the App Store. This is kind of shocking for a popular television show that's been surrounded in so much controversy lately. If you like religious bigots and tower defense games then you may want to check it out. Duck Commander: Duck Defense is now available on the App Store for for $1.99.

Ironhide Game Studio announced this week that Kingdom Rush Origins will be released to mobile devices on November 20, 2014, and SEGA is releasing the real-time strategy game Chain Chronicle worldwide on December 8th. Ironhide Game Studio announced today that Kingdom Rush Origins will be released to the Apple App Store, Amazon App Store and Google Play on November 20, 2014. No Steam or flash browser versions were mentioned in the official trailer or Facebook post announcing the game.

The game's official description reads: "Submerge into the world of Kingdom Rush and experience an epic saga as you unveil the story that started it all! Lead your elven army to defend mystical lands from sea serpents, gnoll tribes, enchanted creatures and twilight elves.
