Apple continues to add tutorials to its video collection directed at iPhone photographers. From the basics to useful pro tips, there are now over 20 step-by-step instructional videos in How to shoot on iPhone 7. The latest additions showcase the Memories feature of the iOS Photos app. Memories was added with iOS 10, along with other highlights such as the People folder in Albums.

Last Day on Earth unforgivably tosses you in to the world without any shelter, tutorial or restart button. You will have to quickly learn how to survive by scavenging for sticks and rocks before zombies, starving wolves and other players kill you.
The new survival game from developer Andrey Pryakhin is a lot like Don't Starve where you need to scavenge and craft items to stay alive. The goal of the game is to build a home base to protect yourself from zombie hoards and other players looking to steal your supplies. You will die many times, and in the process lose everything you worked so hard to create. This is not only very frustrating, but it is what makes the game very addicting. There's a lot of trial and error involved, and you will make a lot of mistakes, but it's all worth it when you finally craft a large item, such as a shower.

SEGA is blowing the doors off the retro gaming world with familiar titles ported to iOS. The company plans to release games from its console heyday every month as part of its SEGA Forever classic games collection. Anyone who is a fan of the SEGA Genesis, Dreamcast, or Master System can get these games free on the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

The Unicode Consortium today has released 56 new emoji characters to be added to Apple, Google or Microsoft devices. The new emojis include Vampire, Zombie, T-Rex and Face With Raised Eyebrow, which is also known as the "Stephen Colbert."

Accessory retailer MobileFun is already accepting pre-orders for iPhone 8 cases designed by the manufacturer Olixar. MobileFun told 9to5Mac that Olixar created the cases using “information and schematics they’ve acquired through their factories and contacts in the far east.”
If their contacts are correct, then the Olixar cases give us a glimpse of the upcoming form factor for the next-generation iPhone. Each case is designed to accommodate the slimmer bezels of the iPhone 8, and they all feature redesigned cutouts for the device's new camera, sensors and ports.
