BlackBerry Wants iOS and Android Users to Line Up for BBM

After many, many hiccups BBM is finally available on the Apple App Store, but with a catch. BlackBerry announced today that BBM will begin rolling out to Google Play, the Apple App Store and in select Samsung App Stores, but they need new users to get in line before they can use it.

BlackBerry Messenger for iOS

The company says about six million people showed interest in BBM at BBM.com, and about one million Android users are already using a leaked version of the messenger. This is why BlackBerry has started a "line-up system to ensure a smooth roll out." To avoid a repeat of last month's server issues, new users must enter their email address to hold their spot in line after they download the app. BBM fans who already signed up at BBM.com can start using the app immediately without waiting.

Boost Mobile Announces iPhone 5s and 5c

Boost Mobile announced today that it would begin carrying the iPhone 5s and 5c beginning on November 8. The Sprint-owned company is not the only prepaid carrier to offer Apple's newest handsets. Virgin Mobile is already selling both the iPhone 5s and 5c for $549 and $449, respectively. Cricket will begin selling both devices on October 25, and US Cellular announced it will also offer the 5s and 5c on the same day as Boost Mobile.

Boost offers its customers unlimited talk, text and data starting at $50/month, and Daily Unlimited plans starting at $2. Boost users can also reduce their monthly payments to as little as $35/month by making their payments on time.

SEGA Announces iOS Winter Lineup

Unlike Nintendo, who refuses to port their games to iOS devices, SEGA has embraced mobile gaming. There are plenty of SEGA titles already available on the App Store, including eight Sonic the Hedgehog games, with four more releases planned for this winter.

Touch Arcade got an early look at SEGA's upcoming iOS lineup which includes a remastered version of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing: Transformed.

SEGA also plans to release Rhythm Thief & The Paris Caper and an action RPG game called Demon Tribe to the app store next year.

First Look at Kingdom Rush Frontiers: Shadowmoon Campaign

Irohnhide Game Studio released the first trailer for Kingdom Rush Frontiers: Shadowmoon. The YouTube video reveals two new heroes, Dante and Bonehart.

Dante is a hunter of the undead and is equipped with a Holy Grenade, Relic of Power and Silver Bullets. Bonehart is a new skeleton dragon who can summon Bone Golems. The trailers also gives a sneak peek of the new levels and some new enemies like zombies, ghost, werewolves, bats and the Headless Horseman.

D&D: Arena of War Now Available on the Apple App Store

The first free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons mobile game is now available for iOS devices. D&D: Arena of War is a 3D battle RPG that takes place in the Forgotten Realms of the D&D universe. Players can create and build their own warrior to "fight on behalf of good against the adversaries of evil."

The game features ten character classes like Elf Bard and Tiefling Rogue to choose from. You can also unlock future character classes as you advance in the game. Each character can be customized with different clothing, skin color and hundreds of powers that can be combined to create deadlier attacks later on. Players can team up with other players to complete quests, and can earn daily rewards for just logging in.
