Google has delivered its YouTube TV app to Apple TV. Apple TV owners were initially expecting the app to launch in 2017, however it was delayed. This week brings the tvOS version of YouTube TV to the App Store, as well as a native app to Roku streaming devices. Previously, YouTube TV subscribers had to deliver content to their Apple TV using AirPlay from an iOS device.

More details on the HomePod have arrived ahead of the smart speaker's official delivery to customers and retail stores next week. Apple has primarily been showing off Siri integration with Apple Music on the HomePod. Now it seems that HomePod will also support iTunes Match, which is offered separately with a $24.99 annual subscription. iTunes Match makes it possible to scan and upload a library of up to 100,000 songs.

The masked madman made his triumphed video game return in Friday the 13th: The Game for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One last year, and now he's back, but this time on the Apple App Store. From the makers Slayaway Camp comes Friday the 13th Killer Puzzle -- another swiping game where you take on the role of the iconic Camp Crystal Lake killer.

Apple has released a preview of iOS 11.3 and all its upcoming features for iPhone and iPad users. iPhone X owners this spring will be able to express themselves as a lion, bear, dragon or skull as Apple introduces 4 new Animoji bringing the overall total to 16. iOS 11.3 will also deliver ARKit 1.5 to developers. The new toolkit will allow AR apps to recognize vertical surfaces and map irregularly shaped surfaces like circular tables, according to Apple.

Days after Apple's HomePod received FCC approval the company has announced a release date. The device will begin shipping on Friday February 9, 2018, with pre-orders starting two weeks prior on January 26. That means anxious HomePod buyers can pre-order the $349 smart speaker online this coming Friday.
