The iPhone X display notch houses critical components used for Face ID, FaceTime and other features. This hasn't stopped people from loving or hating the design feature. Detractors have referred to the "horns" on the iPhone X, which comprise two halves of the status bar. For those who truly can't stand the notch, there is a solution that doesn't involve buying another phone.

Apple's next iOS iteration will deliver on the company's promise to increase wireless charging speeds for its latest iPhone lineup. According to a report from MacRumors, iOS 11.2 will support faster Qi charging for the new iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X models.

It's hit or miss when it comes to mobile titles based on popular movies or television shows. For every cool, retro game like Stranger Things, there seems to be several bad Transformers or other lackluster movie-based titles available on the App Store. South Park: Phone Destroyer is one of the good examples of a television tie-in done right. It manages to avoid the common pitfalls of most fremmium games while sticking close to its source material. This doesn't mean that it doesn't suffer from the occasional skill pay wall, and that there isn't an element of pay to win, but you can enjoy it without spending a ton of cash.

South Park: Phone Destroyer has landed on the App Store. The Ubisoft title is a real-time strategy, card collecting game. In the game you take on the role of the new kid who is famous for the amount of hours he spends on his phone. Cartman enlists you in a battle of Cowboys and Indians where you must lead different characters into combat against other characters from the fictional Colorado town.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is working on its next "breakthrough" product- one that could even succeed the iPhone. Apple is betting big on Augmented Reality (AR), with the initial strides in this direction marked by ARKit released with iOS 11. While iOS devices have laid the groundwork for the company's AR work, the future points to a completely new product category.
