Two games broke the $10 price mark on the App Store this week. Civilization Revolution 2 and Capcom's Monster Hunter Freedom Unite both made their iOS debut at $14.99 each. While this isn't the highest prices we have seen on the App Store, it does show that developers are still willing to release games that are not driven by micro-transactions. iOS App of the Week: Denny's Atari Remix

Denny's Atari Remix is one of the of the oddest apps to hit the App Store in recent memory. At first I thought it was just a joke like WhatsApplebee's, but it is an actual game created by the restaurant chain Denny's. That's right, Denny's has teamed up with Atari to launch a collection of "diner-themed video games" for iOS devices.

Denny's Atari Remix features three Atari classics re-imagined as breakfast. Hashteroids is Denny's spin on Asteroids where you control a ketchup bottle rocket while trying to blast "clumps of golden-brown potatoes before they destroy you". Centipup is based on the original Centipede, and Take-Out is like Breakout but with eggs and bacon instead of bricks. The app also features a button to open Denny's main app in the rare chance that you already have it installed on your device.

One of the concerns about larger smartphones is the lack of one-handed use, but the video posted below demonstrates that users will be able to use their thumb to access all four corners of their display while holding the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 in one hand. Other next-generation rumors have suggested that Apple plans to relocate the wake/sleep button to the side of the its new iPhone models to make it easier to reach due both of the device's larger form factors.

Apple's Siri May Soon Employ Neural Network Algorithms

According to Wired, Siri may soon undergo a long overdue overhaul that would boost the iOS digital assistant's accuracy in understanding human language. This would come via neural network algorithms and architecture, technology that is already being developed and utilized by many of the major players in the tech industry.

Neural networks may soon power Siri

Though they seemingly peaked in popularity thirty years ago, there has been a renaissance of research in neural networks in recent years.
