At first glance it is easy to dismiss Tap Hero as another throw away tapping title, but after a few games you will quickly become addicted. In the game you are an armoured knight who must defend himself from approaching enemies by slaughtering them with a giant sword. You swing your sword by tapping left and right as a steady stream of barbarians, archers and more charge towards you. That's the entire game. You don't move, jump or shoot. You just stand in one place slamming your sword back-and-forth as endless waves of warriors attack you.

The wait is over for Apple TV owners looking forward to a new remote control option. The official Apple TV Remote app has been released by Apple after being revealed earlier this year. Once installed, any compatible iOS device will function as a remote control for second, third and fourth-generation Apple TV set-top boxes. Not only does the app simplify text entry with a keyboard for search fields, it offers full control of media playback.

The mobile gaming hit Pokémon GO received an update to version 1.1.0 over the weekend, leading many players to believe their progress has been lost. According to game developer Niantic, this is a login issue that surfaced due to an update to the Google Account login system.
