$10,000 Solid Gold iPhone Case Now Available

If you weren’t able to get your hands on the coveted gold iPhone 5s last month when the new model was launched, accessory designer Miansai has just the thing to satisfy your needs. For the low price of $10,000, the company is offering a case made out of actual solid gold.

Solid Gold iPhone Case

Company founder Michael Andrew Saiger told Market Watch the product was initially “a kind of joke,” but to his surprise people have “loved it.” The ostentatious case is admittedly impractical when it comes to protecting your iPhone, but with a five-figure sticker price it serves as more of a status symbol than anything else. Both the front and corners of the phone are exposed. Also, solid gold isn’t the strongest metal, so if you drop it, don’t count on the case to adequately safeguard your device.

Yahoo Mail Gets a Makeover for Sweet 16

Yahoo is celebrating Yahoo Mail's sweet 16 by giving the service a complete makeover. The updated mail client now allows users to view email threads as conversations, and offers the ability to collapse the left-hand toolbar for more room on smaller displays. Features like disposable email addresses, enhanced filters and automatic message forwarding are now available to everyone, instead of just Mail Plus customers.

Yahoo is also giving all users up to 1TB of free storage, and is introducing new themes with curated Flickr photos to "dress up your inbox." Users selected themes will apply across all devices such as your browser, smartphone or tablet.

Beats Music Streaming Service Coming to iOS Devices

Luke Wood, president and COO of Beats Electronics, LLC told TNW that Beats Music will launch “within the next few months.” The new music streaming service will be available on the Web and on iOS and Android devices.

Beats Music Streaming

Wood said Beats Music would be different than current music streaming apps such as Spotify because it is going to "focus really heavily on playlists."

“We’re talking about real depth of personalization and knowing who I am, who you are, what we’re listening to, what we like, what we’ve listened to before and then offering up music that is highly relevant to our taste profile," Wood explained.

iPhone 5c Only $45! How to Sell Your Used iPhone and Get the Latest Apple Handset for Free

The iPhone 5c price war rages on. Hours after Best Buy announced it would offer the new handset for only $50, RadioShack announced the same deal. Both electronics retailers will give customers a $50 gift card when they buy a $99 iPhone 5c. However not to be outdone, Walmart just announced it would begin selling the 16GB model for only $45 throughout the holiday season.

iPhone 5c Deals

This is a great opportunity to make a profit by selling your old iPhone while still upgrading to Apple's latest handset. Both Gazelle and Nextworth are accepting trade-ins for all used iPhone models in working condition. You can get up to $115 in cash for a used iPhone 4, and up to $320 for a used iPhone 5. This is much better than Best Buy and RadioShack's $50 gift card deals. It also allows you to have enough money to take advantage of Walmart's $45 sale, and still have enough left over to pay off your carrier's early termination fees if you're still under contract. You can compare trade-in values for all the iPhone models here.

Best Buy Offering $50 Gift Card with Purchase of iPhone 5c [Deals]

Well that didn't take long. Best Buy is already offering the iPhone 5c for only $50. Customers who buy the new Apple handset from the electronics retailer will receive a $50 gift card with their purchase. Best Buy is also offering the same deal on Samsung Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy S 4.

iPhone 5c Deals

This is the next best deal after Sprint's free iPhone offer, but you have to be willing to switch carriers to take advantage of Sprint's discount. Both Target and Walmart are selling the iPhone 5c for $80, meaning Best Buy does currently have best deal on Apple's "unapologetically plastic" handset.
