The iPhone 5c price war rages on. Hours after Best Buy announced it would offer the new handset for only $50, RadioShack announced the same deal. Both electronics retailers will give customers a $50 gift card when they buy a $99 iPhone 5c. However not to be outdone, Walmart just announced it would begin selling the 16GB model for only $45 throughout the holiday season.

This is a great opportunity to make a profit by selling your old iPhone while still upgrading to Apple's latest handset. Both Gazelle and Nextworth are accepting trade-ins for all used iPhone models in working condition. You can get up to $115 in cash for a used iPhone 4, and up to $320 for a used iPhone 5. This is much better than Best Buy and RadioShack's $50 gift card deals. It also allows you to have enough money to take advantage of Walmart's $45 sale, and still have enough left over to pay off your carrier's early termination fees if you're still under contract. Well that didn't take long. Best Buy is already offering the iPhone 5c for only $50. Customers who buy the new Apple handset from the electronics retailer will receive a $50 gift card with their purchase. Best Buy is also offering the same deal on Samsung Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy S 4.

This is the next best deal after Sprint's free iPhone offer, but you have to be willing to switch carriers to take advantage of Sprint's discount. Both Target and Walmart are selling the iPhone 5c for $80, meaning Best Buy does currently have best deal on Apple's "unapologetically plastic" handset.

Racing game developer Eutechnyx has launched the first officially licensed NASCAR game for iOS devices. The racing title features 43 drivers, teams, sponsors, and tracks from the 2013 season. Eutechnyx describes the game as a "sim-meets-action strategy racer" where players must decide "when to push, when to pit, and how to react to new situations" to win.

Players must utilize real time data, and upgrade essential vehicle and pit team components to better their NASCAR careers.

“NASCAR drivers and teams know the value of patience - of choosing the right moment before making their move and which strategies to employ in the heat of the action” noted Blake Davidson, NASCAR Vice President of Licensing & Consumer Products. "We've been very deliberate in evaluating opportunities in the mobile gaming space in an effort to ensure that when we do come to the table with a NASCAR-branded game for the iOS platforms that it will be highly engaging and a best-in-class experience."

Sure we've seen similar projects before, but now the real deal has been leaked by @evleaks. Logitech's gamepad accessory for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s is coming soon, and it will look like the photo below.

The iPhone fits securely inside the gaming-friendly case, making the setup appear similar to a PS Vita. Controls include a directional pad on the left, four action buttons, and two additional buttons on the corners of the gamepad. Logitech is no doubt taking advantage of new support for game controllers that Apple has built into iOS 7.

The iPhone 5s launch has been another example of demand outpacing supply. Walking into an Apple store and leaving with the latest iPhone is easier said than done.
